VirtualDJ Remote App Reviews

I love the idea of this tool for virtual DJ especially if you are attending a dinner as a guest and would like to sit in the audience and use it for turning up and down the volume for announcements and speeches while playing background music. I find the program is glitchy, if your iPhone goes to sleep it has trouble reconnecting to the the computer again. Sometimes you have to close and reopen virtual DJ for it to reconnect. I tried setting my phone to never sleep but had the same issue after it ran for a while or if the wireless connection drop for a second and came back up it would not always automatically reconnect. Unless you are running to computers most of the time its not possible to shut down virtual DJ and reopen it again in the middle of a function. And other downside is the ability to browse between your virtual folders and add songs is very difficult and sometimes not possible theres just not enough functionality. I would also like to see a skin that is similar to the computer version where both players are on the same screen without have to switch back-and-forth between deck A and B. The ability to change the order of your playlist would be nice to. The theory behind this app is great but more time has to be put into its development. Taking into consideration it is a Phone app and will not have the same capability of standing in front of your computer, it would be nice if the app was a little more user-friendly and more functional. Sometimes I also have issues with it trying to run in version 7 mode instead of version 8. Although the option is there to uncheck not to detect version seven sometimes you have no choice because it will not pick up version eight. The app just seems too unreliable at this point.

The app itself is a great idea and promotes a variety of features that can be great for a late night djaying. However, the features promoted dont all correspond to the actual features in the app. It also has an "uglier" and less minimalist design than expected. It could be great for some "casual" house party djaying but doesnt cut it for the rave Im having. Hope this helps

Wi-Fiではなく、Bluetoothで接続すれば使用できます。 有線で繋いでいるかのように、スムーズに使えてます。楽しい！

Cant use sliders simultaneously, browsing needs improvement

This app is not working in my iphone.Keep telling me triying to locate virtual dj thats all:( I want my money back.

trying to locate all the time. doesnt work. dont buy!!!

1. It does not connect directly to computer but by wireless router. 2. Its not advanced mixing software. What it does is just wirelessly driving, scratching and changing files on the deck. + some less important futures. Good for home parties or to keep eye on the desk ;) Toooooo expensive in comprising to the functionality…......

Its ok but... - no multitouch (!!!) - file browser is hell - no gain control Anyway, it is quite good for small home parties :)

Used to be a killer hap, had a few bugs, nothing terrible. But now I cant even load half the stuff I need too and the top and bottom half are not showing up so I can open files. Needs to be updated please.

This is not a useful app, crashes phone and application on computer! Be aware!!!!! Especially if you use this to control from across the room

Been using Virtual DJ for 4 yrs bought this app took 2 mins to setup you have to have wifi for this app to work if I dj in spots with no wifi I just turn on my hotspot on my phone connect then Im good to go. Best dj app Ive come across!!

Good start on a great idea, would like to see an improved search function, & the ability to choose effects in the next update. Cheers

I need to be able to can troll all the effects and mixes and press all of buttons on the DJ bored right from my smart phone like a DJ app but you actually control your DJ program thanks

Maybe Im missing something, but Ive searched all through out the config panel of VDJ and I cannot get it to connect to my Ipad. Ive tryed manual IP connecting, recanning, turning off my firewall and still nothing pops up under Devices.

I have iphone 5s and have been trying to connect it to my VDJ 7.4.1 Pro, but it does not work. I actually had home version which was 7.0.x which I decided to upgrade hoping that it should work, but it does not work. I using MacBook pro. Also my ContentUnlimited is not working. I can search some songs but when I try to play them I get stream unavailable. Can somebody help.

If u want 4 songs thiss app isnt for u plus u cant slide both volumes at the same time PLEASE FIX
